What does a Treasure Hunter do?

Yes, I really am a treasure hunter...
Not like a romantic hero like Indiana Jones or a cynical gold digger like Humphrey Bogart in "The Treasure of Sierra Madre" but a treasure hunter nonetheless.

The treasures I look for are solutions to problems which require innovation and creativity. When a problem is a certain field refuses to be solved, it almost invariably means the solution is in a field different than the one of the experts who work on the problem. If it's a problem physicists are stuck on, maybe the solution is in chemistry, mathematics, biology or even art or philosophy.
Of course, it's impossible to check every field, and that's where I come in.

I can help you define the problem in terms that can be translated to other fields and help you direct the search to the fields where the solution is likely to be found.
That's the treasure I dig for, for you.

But wait! There's more!
While you're busy digging in far away fields for solutions to your problems, there could be treasures buried in your backyard which are solutions to problems you aren't even aware of!
With my multidisciplinary background I can help you locate unsolved problems which fit the solutions you may think are trivial in your field but are innovative and surprising in other fields.

So call now and invite me over for tea and a chat about the work you do at your company... because I'm curious about what you do!
